On this new Poster Design Series I wanted to give credit to some of most iconic rock musicians in music history. And the main element on this composition are the photography from the musician being the center of the design mixed with modern graphic elements and geometric shapes and on this poster art series I focus the use on typography design elements.
To create this poster I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create some of the graphic elements. I used a modern graphic design style mixed with digital collage technique to create the poster aesthetic, with typographic elements accompanying the main photo to give more information.
On David Bowie Poster Design I choose a bright color palette being the main colors Pink and Purple, and to give some details I used a white color, on David Bowie’s posters I used a modern typography and abstract elements mixed with Bowie’s Photo.
The second artist is Queen front man Freddie Mercury where the main color is Bright Pink and complementary colors are Light Blue in 03 and Black in 04, on this two Freddie Mercury posters the typography is more important with a modern graphic design style.
And the last musician chosen for this collection is Robert Plant, the legendary singer from Led Zeppelin. On Robert Plant Poster Design the color palette used is bright pink to match the poster collection main color and different tones of blue as complementary. On this posters I wanted to focus more on Typography elements and give a 70’s concert poster vibe.
